Background: Leukemia is one of the most occurring haematological pathologies in world which develops due to impairment hematopoietic machinery. Cellular death via apoptosis severely impaired this pathophysiological condition and leads progression disease. Objective: We have tried unearth efficacy Withanolide D, a steroidal lactone derived from Withania somnifera or Ashwagandha on some apoptotic machinery components, i.e. TERT, BCL2 PUMA experimental leukemic mice. Materials Methods: LD50 EC50 values D were estimated. Three groups animals taken for purpose Group I = Leukemic, (L); II Control, (C); III Leukemic treated with (L + WD). received oral route other two equal volume distilled water. Various cytological, immunofluorescence flow cytometric studies into consideration post administration. Result: group showed increased cellular proliferation decreased as compared control. Post administration expression started shift towards normal status. This expressional rate revealed by investigations. Conclusion: As suppression disease, so, we can conclude that may hold promise new therapeutic strategy leukemia.
